Joel Swehla

I'm a 6th generation Californian and have, for the most part, spent whole life in the Central Valley. I spent 4 years in Pittsburgh attending Carnegie Mellon, followed by 3 years in San Jose as a Business Analyst. I attended grad school, for a short time, in New York before returning to California to get married and raise a family. I've spent the past 16 years, in multiple IT roles, working for American Medical Response. Currently, I lead of team of 7 hard-working & smart individuals in supporting our Clinical Applications nationwide. I have been enrolled in the Code Academy at Bay Valley Tech, since August 2023, to build on my knowledge of coding and apply it in my job.
